Our vision for a new Sour IPA was clear and simple: juicy hop aromatics that highlight peach, mango, and melon, underscored by a hint of complimentary acidity. It’s more IPA than sour, but incorporates both hoppy and acidic elements to create a supremely thirst-quenching and tastebud-pleasing experience.

What it smells like, what it tastes like: Peach, cantaloupe, mango and yellow plum

Can from the brewery. Hazy yellow, with a large white head. Tropical fruit, stone fruit, citrus zest, with a lactic tangy. Not overly sour, just enough. Decent sour ipa, nice tropical, juicy notes, but at the end of the day, nothing special really.

On tap at Bellwoods, pours a murky yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of lacto, with some tropical fruits, and citrus hops. Flavour is tart, with overripe stone fruits, citrusy hops, and mimosa-like notes. Lacto and hazy combo = Berko no like.

A hazed golden ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with lemony notes, tropical fruits, light Epsom salts, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with lemony notes, tropical fruits, light Epsom salts, pleasant and smooth. On tap at Lupulus.
