Doppelbock, ”doppel” meaning ”double” is a stronger version of the German-style bock beers. This beer pours a dark brown with an off-white head, with aromas of dark fruit and caramel sweetness. This beer is full-bodied, complex in flavour and very rich.

473mL can, pours deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma has a muddled bready malt character and some earthiness. Flavour has some strange herbaceous notes, bready malt, and a touch of earthiness. Really strange, lifeless malts, with some odd notes. Not good.

Medium brown. Thin head. It's a bit on the thin side, not much complexity. So this comes across weak, lacks the malt depth.

473mL can. Pours a clear dark brown with a light beige head. Dry sugars and stale bread on the nose. Flavour has stale bread, tired malts. Very earthy. Not very good at all.

A dark reddish brown bock with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with dark fruits, light mineral notes, OK. In mouth, sweet caramel malt with dark fruits, plums, light chalky notes, grassy hops, pleasant. On tap at Rockland location.
