A deep dark stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, chocolate malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, OK. In mouth, chocolate malt with dark fruits, light mineral notes, light grassy hops, OK. On tap at brewery.

Can that pours a real dark brown colour, kind of black - weird for such a low alcohol beer. Hardly any highlights and a nice frothy, bubbly mocha-looking head with good retention and foamy lacing. Roasted malt nose with hints of molasses, coffee and very mild liquorice. The taste is milder with watery burnt malts, but the hops seem to take over with a dry finish, giving this one a bitter flavour. A nice 4.4% ABV dry stout.
