A dark reddish brown ale with a thin creamy mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light maple syrup and alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, sweet fruity caramel malt with light maple syrup, alcohol warmth, vanilla, pleasant. On tap at brewery.

750ml bottle from the brewery pouring a clean dark brown colour with a light mocha-coloured head, good stay leaving some creamy lacing. Sweet nose at first with a mix of maple syrup and molasses. Then, boozy notes comes out, with some grassy hops, roasted malts and hints of caramel. The taste starts on the mapleness, but the hops gives enough to cut the sweetness and offer a decent dryness, alcohol smoothness. A touch of apples, burnt barley base and mild caramel malts. Maple notes lingers. This is quite a nice warming beer, and what a good one for their first Quad.
