Our mildly sweet bodied Maple Ale was brewed with real Ottawa-area maple syrup. The ale is golden brown in colour just like the delicious local Museoparc maple syrup, added directly in the kettle, has a nice and light smoky flavour.

A reddish copper ale with a thin creamy lacing light mocha head. In aroma, sweet maple syrup with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, OK. In mouth, caramel malt with light grassy hops, light maple extract, light mineral notes, OK. On tap at brewery.

Last can from the big purchase I did before this virus became what it is today. Pours a clean amber colour with a copper hue. The head is big, frothy, long lasting, light-beige and leaves creamy streaks of lacing. Loads of maple sap in the nose with a nice sweetness and a light nutty brown ale undertone. The flavours are not too sweet, helping a lot going down. Thinner, not syrupy, with just enough hops in the finish to give it a nice dryness. Looks like the maple syrup from my friend as well. Very well brewed.
