Lost Causes is a Cherry and Pomegranate Dry-Hopped Lacto Sour and it’s our first plunge into the risky world of mixed fermentation in our steel tanks. The live lactobacillus in the cellar provides more depth in its acidity when compared to a kettle sour and the cherry and pomegranate give Lost Causes a brilliant red colour and juicy fruit notes. A light Citra and Amarillo dry-hop also contribute to the exquisite experience. In the technical sense, this beer was difficult to make, but that certainly adds to our appreciation of this release. We look forward to continuing this series.

A lightly hazed dark pink ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with cranberries, light cherries, lactic acid, Epsom salts, pleasant. In mouth, sweet fruity malt cherries, lactic acid, Epsom salts, pleasant. On tap at brewery.
