Bomber from Craft Beer Kings. Pours really dark brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma of earthy dark chocolate and bourbon. Med + body. Flavor is bourbon, dark treacle, earth, chocolate. There’s a bit of heat burn, but that’s just in good fun. There’s a lot of Jack in this ale. Yums the word.

Bottle. Pours dark clear black, small tan head, disspates fairly quickly leaving some lacing. Aroma is roasty and chocolate with light whiskey and charred oak notes. Flavor is medium sweet, medium bitter, lots of Jack Daniels here for sure, chocolate and roasty notes, but the whiskey is dominant. The body is on the light side, but not too bad. There is a fair bit of astringence and alcohol burn going on as well. Definitely not smooth on the palate by any means. I kind of agree with previous reviewer; this tastes more like somebody mixed some whiskey with an impy rather than properly aged one in barrels.

22 Oz bottle shared by Tcon. Thanks T! Pours a thick dark brown with a ton of brown head. Cocoa powder, vanilla, and whiskey aroma. Thick mouthfeel. Dry chocolate and straight whiskey flavor without the burn to it. Very smooth drinking beer. Really heavy on the chocolate throughout. Very tasty. Flavor leaves a lingering bourbon flavor. Very easy drinking for a heavy beer. Very nicely done.
