Bottle from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn. Pours yellow gold with a small white head. Aroma of fruit, stewed veg, hop, caramel and yeast. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation. A very drinkable pilsen.

Bottle from Lupe Pinto. Appearance - golden with a thin but attractive head. Nose - green beans. Dank. Then fudge. Taste - loads of fudge on the taste. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture. A bit sweeter than preferred on the finish. Overall - a bit sweet.

Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours clear pale golden with a thick white head. Aromas are strangely toffee-ish for this style, fudge. Taste is sweet, more fudge. Weird. Tastes like a darker beer.

Bottle at a Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles. Pours pale gold with a foamy, white head. It’s a bit crap, really. Somewhat papery, with white sugar, pale grains. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more cereal, paper, hay. Sugary, not very drinkable. Poor overall.

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours translucent gold with a slight white head. Aroma is bready and fruit/herb/floral. Rather nice. Med body or so. Flavor is bready, Saaz, and arguably some fruit note in the background. Clean. Decent.
