Bottle. Golden beer with a whitish head. Tart and light spice aroma with light yeast and light lemon. Spice and tart flavor with oak. Medium bodied. Spice and oak lingers with tartness.

Bottle. Pours clear golden apple, medium off-white head, dissipates fairly quickly, decent lacing. Aroma is very Bretty, hints of acetone, white grapes, a bit of barnyard funk. Flavor has some residual sweetness, sharp Brett funk, some acetone sharpness as well, white grape juice and sweatsocks. Medium body. Not really coming together well.

Poured from a bottle. Aroma is fruity with a green apple joy rancher character to it. Some pear and stone fruit as well with a bit of citrus and tropical fruit. Light peppery phenolic notes with a light grain character as well. Pours a hazy, pale, yellow gold with a medium sized, moderately thick, white head that recedes to the edges and lingers. Flavor has a light acidity with a bit of a grain note upfront that lingers into the finish. Medium light pear and green apple notes with a bit of tropical fruit and citrus. Moderate phenolic notes with a spiciness that lingers into the dry finish. Medium bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, an alright beer. More green apple and pear in the aroma than flavor with more phenolics in the flavor than in the aroma. Not sure if green apple was intended or if it is acetaldehyde.

Capped 750 from Bine & Vine. Pours hazy gold with a somewhat fizzy white head. Aroma is fruity and lightly bretty. Very nice aroma. Near med body. Flavor is bretty and somewhat citrusy. Very dry finish. Recommended for those without access to Hill Farmstead.

750 ml. bottle. It pours a lightly hazed pale golden color with a small, creamy white head. The aroma is subdued but pleasant with some lightly toasted malt, tangerine, pineapple and light hay-like funk. Hints of minty/floral hops. The flavor is fruity and peppery up front with dried pineapple, tangerine, hints of grapefruit and a good amount of peppery Saison yeast. Crisp, bready pale malts are hidden underneath. Pleasant funky, lightly phenolic brett notes come through in the finish and help dry it out along with low medium bitterness. The body is medium with a nice velvety texture. I quite liked this one. A pretty basic brett Saison with lots of tropical fruitiness. Good.
