Anton, Sten and Kiur are dear friends of ours, since we met them at last year’s TCBW we knew we wanted to brew something together at home… They’re also lovers of unusual yet great flavour combinations (see the collab BEET CHILD O MINE we brewed together in Tartu) and it wasn’t just one festival that gave us the opportunity to design a beer together here in Budapest as well (there were at least five of them): they finally visited us in March so let us present the result 4 months later. It’s also important to mention MIDLIFE CHRIS here, because just like then, we blended Barrel Project batches for the perfect final result this time as well. It is a sweet, herbal, yet harmonious drop, which provides several opportunities to get completely lost in!

20/9/2025. Can courtesy of Gabor, cheers. Curious aroma, coca cola, herb, root, toffee, tea, chocolate, spice. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness initially which developed a little harshly alongside some perfumed notes. Quite full bodied. Didn’t totally gel with me.

TTO ZIl Verne. Amber brown color with meidum beige head. Aroma of biscuity malt, dried fruits, bergamot, black tea, light caramel. Taste is biscuity malt with carmael, dried fruits, toasted bread, fruity esters, wood. Alcohol is well hidden. Good.

Tap at Zil verne. Med-full body, medium carbonation. Med-high bitterness, medium sweetness. Medium woody, tobacco, dried fruits, med-light toasted, light caramelly, general esters. Overall quite good, tasty sipper.

Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

Kicsi, gyorsan elillanó hab, barna szín. Karamelles, hordós, earl gray teás, illatok. Édes, karamelles, earl gray teás, hordó, vaníliás ízek, némi aszalt gyümölcsös aromával. Lecsengéskor előkúszik némi alkoholosság. Testes, enyhén szénsavas, enyhén keserű. Finom, jól összerakott sör. Érdemes lenne egy-két évet pihentetni.
