Fear No Art

Pretty hazy golden and peach coloured body with a thinnish, single to two centimetre tall pure white head that fades pretty quickly. Aroma of grass, oranges, light citrus fruit, some soap and a good deal of tropical fruit notes, but there is also some bitterness here as well as a moderate malt/wheat note in the nose at least. Medium-bodied; Pretty strong citrusey and wheatie flavours dominate up front with some nice grassy and orangey hops without much bitterness/alpha acids, but more in terms of the malt backbone and support right after a sip. Aftertaste shows the citrus fruit, a light dose of sugars, a very small dose of hops and bitterness here, but much more from the malts/wheat than I was expecting here, and a robust, rich finish that is a bit lacking in terms of hops and characteristics. Overall, a nice enough New England IPA with a robust and rich quality from the malts with enough flavours from the citrus fruits to make this interesting and enjoyable, but not enough to make me recommend this to others. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint pour on draught at Mason Social [restaurant] in [old town] Alexandria, Virginia on 05-March-2022 for my Wife's Birthday in interruption of my month-without-alcohol, Happy Birthday Amanda, with all my kids as well for US$7,00.

Orange and honey nose. Clear amber, medium head, good lace. Whole orange. Orange peel finish. Medium body, easy carbonation. One of the better beers from this brewery that I've had. Nothing special but tasty and well made.

12oz can. Filtered looking orange-tan. No real lasting head. More of a classical balanced IPA than a new school oat beer. Decent hop depth, some bitterness, chewy malts. Good.

Pint in Brookland, pours a clear orange, ring of white head.  Nose has apricot, peach, mango bubblegum, orange.  Flavor has the stone fruits, orange Popsicle, mango. Oily finish.  Easy drinker.  8 3 7 3 13

Light lime and some orange. Green onion and malt. Pours golden amber with good head. Hop tang finish. Can from brewpub.
