Not an oatmeal stout but rather a stout using “natural flavors” to taste like an oatmeal cookie, which ain’t the same thing at all. Pass.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a very thin tan head, only a centimetre or so tall. Aroma of roasted malts with a bunch of other sugars - raisins, nuts, earth, toffee, caramelised sugars and some vanilla here - while the malts are strong, the rustic and earthiness is strong as well. Light to Medium-bodied; Relatively strong and earthy nuts dominate with a good deal of grainy malts along with some icing sugar and yeastie qualities, but the rustic and earthiness seem to dominate and strengthen the sugars and deep pungent bitterness that is picked up from the malt bill. Aftertaste shows some sweetness towards the end, but the relatively thin body shows the bitterness more than anything else with the grainy qualities and the earthiness really coming through and leaving the vanilla, raisins and caramel notes further behind. Overall, a pretty easy-drinking, relatively thin-ish beer that has a lot of pungency and bitterness from the malt with a smooth sweetness throughout that makes this go down relatively easily. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 03-September-2022 for US$1,79 sampled at my house here in Washington on 05-February-2023.

12oz bottle. Unfiltered looking deep brown body. Thin, glass rimming beige head. Thin, sugar centered body. Not a lot of malt depth. Doesn't really nail the flavor profile...at least of a Little Debbie type Oatmeal Cream cookie, but that isn't really such a bad thing. Medium bodied, rather thin and watery for a Stout. Drinkable, but wholly unimpressive.

Pour is more of a dark brown with a thin tan head. Aroma is cinnamon and a little burnt malt. Flavor is some cinnamon and raisin with some creamy vanilla. Not a beer I would want again but something that was nice to try. I love a good spiced ale and this fit the bill.
