Every great city has its wild side, and in 19th century San Francisco, that was the Barbary Coast. From this chaotic cauldron emerged San Francisco’s vibrant jazz culture and a rich legacy of poets, artists, writers, and entertainers. Inspired by this creative tradition, this decadent imperial stout was brewed with oak staves, sea salt, a hint of spicy chili, Dandelion Chocolate’s cacao nibs and Sightglass Coffee. Pair with rich chocolate cake and a flair for adventure!

Can from the dregs run, cheers Craig! Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of coffee, chocolate cake, vanilla. Taste is rich, more chocolate and coffee, faintest heat and light wood notes. Well balanced and drinkable.

Can picked up Beer Gonzo, Webshop, Earlsdon, Coventry, consumed at Camping Brehadour, Guerande, Loire Atlantique Friday 16th June 2017 Pours black or as near as with a tan head. This has had the kitchen sink thrown at it, toasted coconut, milk chocolate, vanilla, chili, it’s all here and in abundance. Soft, creamy and rich, velvety (Loz) it’s great but one is more than enough. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Dark brown, no head. This has a nice chocolatey character, with a touch of coffee. Not bad. Quite sweet, a bit dessert-like.
