Bottle 0.33l from our archive, aged for three and half years. Dark brown to black colored, opaque. AROMA- roasted malts, a bit burnt, nuts, touch of whiskey. FLAVOR- very smooth, neutral to dry, lightly bitter, somewhat strong alcohol, roasted malts, vanilla, nuts, maybe slight touch of whiskey. Medium bodied. And another one of average imperial stouts from Zichovec.

Lahev (Veselé Vánoce do Neratovíc!): Almost black, small tanned foamy layer, moderate bitter-sweet - a bit boozy - nose of roasted malt and dried fruits with delicate traces of vanilla and wood ( which means a kind of Whisky); moderate to solid dryish bitter-sweet flavour with a slight woody acidity, medium to full bodied, not really soft; lingering and a bit tart bitter-sweet roasty, fruity and boozy finish, delicate alcohol-burn in the aftertaste. Není špatné pivo, ale celkem to není ono...

Bottle @ Home. Pours black with a fading brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, sweet caramel, little butter, light chocolate, light whisky, little meaty, labre laver notes. Flavor is sweet, rich malty, caramel, light chocolate, little smoke, wood, whisky. Medium to full body, soft to average carbonation, light sweet finish with warming alcohol. 300918

0.33l bottle. Black color with low white head. Aroma: dates, prunes, maple syrup. Taste: heavy sweet, dates, prunes, toffee. Not that creamy or smooth as I wish it would be.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Zichovec Enter Here 20° ].Clear dark brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted, caramel, marmalade, toffee, butterscotch. Flavor is moderate sweet, light acidic and bitter with a long duration, larber larver, marmalade, toffee, candy, sweet malt, dark malt, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bottle @Ulfborg Tasting. Nearly black, tiny offwhite head. Aroma has whisky, light smoke. Whisky and caramely flavour, sweet, sourish-smoky flavour, light butter.
