Light cloudiness to the copper-butter colored body with a white head that shows rocky-like patches and moderate retention overall.
Pretty straightforward brewpub rendition. A bit on the sweet side with some light metallic notes at points. Otherwise, moderately well-developed esters with lots of banana and clove. Chewy wheat and lightly sticky malt sugars with bread and light caramel. A bit "sharp" and grassy on the end. Fortunately the remainder of the beers I had at Whaler’s were vastly superior and enjoyable.
