From the can. Mango aromas. Soft with sweet mango and dusty skin turning to sharp pith in the lasting finish.

Draft at the source. Almost clear golden yellow, mild lacing. Aroma is floral and weak dank, resin, and sugar. Flavor is mild of floral hops, resin, and light unfermented sugar. Has some light sugar Sweetness. A little more tweaking and this would be good.

Draught at the brewery, opening night, 4/1/16.
Very lightly hazy golden-brass colored body shows a small, but dense white head with moderate retention.
Aggressive pine is somewhat allayed by pineapple and mango in the nose as moderate caramel and thick honey notes sit heavily in waiting. Has some brief moments of enjoyable fruitiness/juiciness reminiscent of New England-style IPAs, but thereโs too much pine and way too much malt (actually wort) character. No alcohol noted.
Quite bitter in the mouth, it more or less suffers from the exact same worty sweetness that the cream ale does. Even the pine and citrus canโt stop the sugary onslaught that builds up heavily on the palate, fatiguing it. Extremely difficult to finish a pint of this or the cream ale, much less imagine drinking another. Thick, amply carbonated texture with tons of sugary wort.
