Draught at Tip Tap Room, 2/4/16.
Lightly hazy, brilliant white-golden body is topped by a small, yet dense and well-retained white head.
Clean, clear brett in the nose is joined by a very dry, lightly oaky character that provides just a hint of toasted notes. Very fruity, yet nicely tart and bright, with no alcohol or flaw.
Spritzy, tight carbonation and a soft, malty, yet well-attenuated body provide a perfect texture, with no alcohol or heavy tannin and moderate, bright, well-developed brett acids. Guava, light vanilla, hints of lemon and very delicate honey all provide for a flavorful, yet light, tart, drinkable beer. Did not find any vegetal or medicinal character noted in other ratings. There was a touch of acetic and lactic character, so perhaps that is what the medicinal note was? Quite delicious and dry, but not overattenuated. One of their better wild ales to-date, I thought.

Keg at the Blind Tiger - NYC. Pours an extremely murky gold with a flimsy, foamy white head. Prominent brett funk in the nose, some ripe lemon, tangerine. Light sweet flavor with more poopy brett, very slight tart lemon, some doughy wheat, straw. Light in body with lively carbonation and massaging texture. Fairly clean on the finish, some citrus elements, a bit of farmyard, bread, light bitter hay. Tasty beer in the whole.
