Buffalo Bill var en bisonjæger og en mesterskytte. Samtidig var han en
legende i forbindelse med dramaet om det “vilde vesten”, som denne serie af øl er inspireret af.

Med sine 9,3 % er Buffalo Bill en rigtig vildbasse. Med kombinationen af røde melanoidinmalte og masser af den komplekse Bramling Cross-humle giver det en anderledes Barley Wine.
Der er i denne øl fokus på malt, fylde og humlearoma. Helt sikkert en smagsprøve eller ti værd.

500 ml bottle, as Grauballe Buffalo Bill Barley Wine, from Skjold Burne Skagen. ABV is 9.3%, IBU 70. Hazy reddish brown colour, small off-white head. Aroma of malts, syrup, caramel and dark dried fruits. Soft carbonation and mouthfeel. Sweet flavour with the same elements as the aroma, also fairly distinct bittering hops.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy, rough, off-white head - seems pretty lifeless. Sweet, toffeeish, gummy aroma. Rich body, malty, caramellish, toffee, overripe fruit with an odd edgy tartness. Warming alcohol finish. Somewhat rough - but it will get you plastered. 120219

Bottled. A hazy dark amber beer with a lazing yellowish head: The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, alcohol, leading to a bitter finish.

50 cl bottle. Pours cloudy orange. Small white head. Aroma is grapefruity and herbal hoppy. Sweet. Fruity. Toasted. Slight herbal. Bitter and toasted malty. Slight hops fruity finish.

Tap@Ølfestival København 2018, Copenhagen - dark amber coloured pour with a beige head. Overt sweet malty, caramel, toffee, very sweet sugar, vague dried fruity, very sweet malty into the close.

[ As Grauballe Buffalo Bill ].Unclear - hazy medium amber colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, candy, rich malt, light caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, caramel malt, sweet malt, sugary malt, green apples - light sour. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180421] 5-3-5-3-8

Flavor is sweet, light sour, malt, caramel, sweet and light sour fruit, ripe apples, alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet and light sour finish with warming alcohol. 070418
