Pours clear gold into a snifter. White head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Aspirin and lemongrass aromas. Tart and dry with lemon and chamomile upfront turning to mild bitter earth in the medium length finish.

Draught at Row 34, 4/21/17.
Lightly hazy, blonde-brass body is topped by a large, white head showing strong retention for the "style".
Nose displays a moderate bit of acetic acid mixed with plentiful lactic notes that are well-integrated with a malty backbone that provides light honey and bits of caramel. Adjuncts display good restraint and while you can pick out both, they don’t dominate in the least. Hops are quite apparent as well, and contribute to the brightness while also adding some leafy, lightly earthy character and no pine/resin. Sounds kind of intense, and to be sure, it definitely smells like it’s going to be sour, but it seems to be aged nicely with low resulting oak and no alcohol or flaw.
Malty with a soft texture and very finely-bubbled carbonation leading to an exquisitely perfect mouthfeel that helps control the sourness. It’s not even that intensely sour; not puckering really but definitely has its lactic moments. Lots of fruity Brett with soft oak tannins, low toast and good attenuation of the malt and integration of the acid, overall. Adjuncts, like in the nose, are not overdone. The wonderful carbonation and ultra-soft texture really elevates this thing both highlighting and yet controlling the acidity.

Tap at The Jeffrey. Pretty golden pour bright white head. Now is citrus and some brett light barnyard. Tastes wonderfully refreshing of lemongrass, you get the tea more as it warms and is very pleasant, light hay and barnyard, hint of yogurt and bretty. Great palate that is smooth and nice amount of tartness. Semi dry. Really dug this one.
