500ml bottle. Jet black colour with small, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Dark malty and slightly odd, herbal-spicy-fruity aroma, hints of liquorice, herb liqueur, dark berries, Jägermeister. Taste is bitter, roasty dark malty and herbal-spicy, minimally fruity, hints of herb liqueur, Jägermeister, a touch of dark chocolate and dark berries. Relatively light body, minimally oily texture, slightly strange composition.

Shared at a tasting, thanks vami, small bubbly creamy head, opaque black color, aroma of chocolate cakem shrubs, clove, nutmeg and a whiff of umami, same traits in flavor with some prunes and some dark chocolate coming through later, quite sweet but quite mellow and doesnwt feel heavy. Really nice and highly enjoyable.

Keg at Warsaw Beer Festival, 06/04/17. Black with a decent tan head. Nose is roast malts, charr, dark fruit rinds, treacle toffee, light spice. Taste comprises fruit cake, dates, raisins, light black peppery spice, molasses, toasted brown sugar. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light boost. Ok impy ... perhaps lacks depth for the ABV but ticks the style boxes.

Bottle 500ml. @ home. [ As Markowy Carskie ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is light heavy malty, dark malt, caramel, sweet malt, molasses - brown sugar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, dark malt, dark chocolate, sweet malt, burnt brown sugar, caramel, light alcoholic. Keg at the Warsaw beer fest 2017. A clear nut brown coloured pour with a fine halo of tan. Aroma is tangy earthy malts, twig, sweet brown bread. Flavour is composed of sweet brown sugars, malts, apple cake, little boozy. Palate is pretty sweet with. Lowish carbonation. Cakey malts and alcohol linger.

Keg at the Warsaw beer fest. Pours black-brown with a creamy tan head. Decent roast in the nose, dried and leathery berries. Medium sweet flavour with some bitter ash and baking cocoa, ripe berries, raisins. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, lightly warming, with bittersweet baking cocoa, more dark fruits. Nice.
