Draught at the brewery, 3/11/17.
Lightly-to-moderately hazy, pale, white-golden body topped by a large white head that falls rapidly to cover.
Very lactic in the nose though not metallic or dominated purely by twangy/punchy lactic acids. Quite a bit of lemon, light green hop character and strong wheat undertones with fresh house yeast and a good deal of fruity esters.
In the mouth it’s nicely tart, perhaps bordering on sour. Crisp and well-carbonated with a very strong, chewy wheat-laden texture and great fruitiness to match the strong lactic character. It tastes like a kettle sour, but the texture and malt/wheat flavor helps add some character. The lactic acidity is fairly well-integrated in to the other aspects, as well, and there is no flaw or alcohol noted.
