Dry and funky, some grass and white grape. A little straw, lemon peel. Quite airy, lively carb. Not bad.

Draught at the brewery, 1/8/17.
Very minimal haze, golden-beeswax with a fluffy white head, full but steadily receding.
Brett is fairly well-integrated in the nose but still stands apart from the Sacch. esters and phenols, as it most often does. Lime, lemon, guava and apple, with just a hint of powdered sugar. Wheat and honey in the background are quite present, easily balancing the tartness, which isn’t all that tart.
In the mouth it’s very fruity, with lots of citrus and spicy character from the Brett leading to a very balanced beer with plentiful carbonation that increases the perceived fullness of the body in concert with the dough, bread and honey character from the malt. Clean, drinkable and balanced and not overdone on the Brett but it’s still just a little too "by-the-book" and doesn’t have any personality.

Taster at the source pours hazy orange with a thin white head. Aromas of grass funk lemon and spice. Taste is bread hay mild funk and citrus. Mouthfeel is thin and needs something more. Aroma is more funk than the taste.
