Draught at Casa Verde, 1/7/17.
Pale blonde-golden with a minimal haze and a small, but firm white head atop.
Lightly juicy, leafy, green, vegetal notes (good vegetal) provide a plethora of bright but not acidic/resinous citrus and enjoyable juicy fruits. Mango, nectarine, kiwi and light honey and biscuit from the malts with a touch of Kent Falls house character (rustic, fruity yeast). No alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth it’s surprisingly light for its size; dry lemon, nectarine, sweet lime and mango are all rather subdued, but it still comes off crisp and drinkable due to the pleasingly grainy malts and tight carbonation, as well as the zesty citrus on the finish. Nice stuff, but for 7.9%, I would expect a little more flavor intensity and juiciness, I suppose.
