Reviewed from notes.
Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in color with a one finger khaki foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: roasty coffee notes with dark malts, toastiness, milk chocolate, dark chocolate then some sweet pumpkin and subtle vanilla sweetness, kind dose of cinnamon and nutmeg to even that out
Flavor: blends all the prior noted aromas together with a roasty, toasty and genuine pumpkin vibe; nice finish of the stout qualities with pumpkin and cinnamon
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper, fair smoothness along the tongue and the roasty tones and cinnamon harshness is mostly tamed here
Overall: pretty good American stout with the pumpkin and spices making it a swell treat for Autumn.

4 ounce draft at the brewery. Pitch black color. Unsweetened chocolate, earthy grains, roast. I cant find pumpkin. (And I am totally happy about that) bitterness here for balance. Bitterness leans on a black IPA. Nice stout and honestly, my favorite of the draft samples on this trip.

Pours a thick, dark, cola-black, with mid-sized, fast-dissipating head. Aroma of roasted grain, coffee, chocolate. Flavor is very smooth, with coffee, roasted grain, some vanilla and cinnamon. Surprisingly, no pumpkin flavor (which is actually a good thing, in my book), though maybe just tiny bit in the finish. Nice stout.

Draught at the brewery, 11/5/16.
Dark, ebony body of undetermined clarity with a light-tan head atop showing moderate retention.
Strong, ash and char-tinged roast in the nose shows dark, baker’s chocolate and hints of light caramel and vanilla behind it. Very clean, very well-attenuated and with a highly flavorful roast character that is bitter and lightly fruity but offset by just enough residual sugar. Pumpkins completely fermented out, unsurprisingly, so no pumpkin flavors, but a very solid, clean, drinkable stout.
