Draught at the Cafe, 8/27/16. Lightly hazy, golden-brass with rosy hues and a small, off-white head showing moderate to low retention due probably to the rosemary. Soft strawberry mixes with fairly reserved yellow fruit hop notes. Nectarine, peach and very light pineapple add an elegant touch and the rosemary is apparent but tastefully done. Malts are quite sparse, adding little more than cracker, biscuit and a touch of angel food cake-like sweetness. No alcohol or flaw, bit of grassiness and pepper lingering, not sure from what. Medium to medium-light body is surprising, with lightly sweet, soft, fruity strawberries blending nicely with light tangerine, nectarine, lemon and pineapple hop notes. Rosemary adds a welcome element but there’s a bit of oiliness and in concert with the sparse, crackery malts, it rrally highlights how thin this beer is. Definitely would not have classed this as a DIPA, as the hops, though perfectly enjoyable, are very light and there’s lots of fruit and herb. Still, it’s competent and most importantly, not overdone.

32 oz. Growler filled at the original location less then 24 hours ago. Color is a hazy gold within lasting white head. The aroma is light citrus, mild rosemary, some light earth.
Flavor is shows plenty of citrus with hints of pine and earth. The finish of the sip shows the Rosemary. Carbonation is smooth and gives a creamy mouthfeel. I can’t find the strawberry anyplace in the aroma or flavor. But with the exception of the strawberry been missing, this brew is flavorful. Bitterness is moderate with a a dry texture.
