Draught at the Cafe, 8/27/16. Another light golden beer, though this shows a thorough haze and strong copper hues. White head atop shows good retention for the style. Tart, citrus and strong lactic character in the nose shows a hint of vanilla-honey and light biscuit. No alcohol or flaw. Very tart but with a fine carbonation and a malty body with round salinity. Strong attenuation and a long, drawn-out lactic character on the finish with lip-smacking, lemony-salinity. No ant notes, not that I was expecting any, but it’s nice to know they’re in there, I guess?
