This crisp IPA was brewed with Amarillo, El Dorado, and 240lbs of raw wildflower honey, locally sourced from Autumn Morning Farm in Barre, MA. Citrus and floral hop character lead to an unexpectedly dry finish - the honey’s sugars are easily fermented and only a touch of lingering sweetness remains. In other words, this balanced beer is all your hop and honeycomb-dipped dreams in liquid form. Named after Warren Zevon’s smash hit “Lawyers, Guns, and Money."

I’ve had bit of cough so bought this brew with honey to help. Orange pour and a fingers worths of foam. Nose is honey and citrus and pine. Tastes bitter pine, orange peel. Florals, honey, mango. Not overly sweet. Enjoyable

Draught at Lulu's, 3/28/18.
Orange blossom honey colored body is thoroughly hazy, though not soupy. Solid, frothy, white head showing moderately-strong retention.
Smells very fruity with lots of melon/cantaloupe from the yeast. Light, soft and easygoing and not terribly aromatic, but clean with no alcohol nor any sign of honey.
In the mouth it's kind of a pine-tinged lime-like hop character with actual honey flavor (which is surprising given I get none in the nose). Sweet, biscuity-tinged malt, as well. Moderate bitterness but more honey building up on the finish than I'd care for (making it too sweet). Bitter pine is a bit of a nuisance, as well. Light, minimal juiciness and reasonably soft-textured overall. I guess it's competent enough for a West Coast hybrid sort of IPA. Clean, but lots of disjointed sweet honey and piney bitterness lingers on, not terribly enjoyably-so.

16 oz. can. Great aroma! Some moderate honey, floral hints, and maybe a some citrus. Flavor is lasting honey with mild, hidden hops. Bitterness is almost non-existent from the honey. Alcohol is restrained. Sweet but not cloying, reminds me of a popular Series from a famous Massachusetts. Very tasty!
