Great color: deep ruby-to-magenta with just a hint of haze to deepen the color and light carbonation visible. Pink-tinged, off-white head fades steadily to a ring.
Hibiscus imparts leathery, earthy, cranberry-accented notes with plentiful black pepper mixing in and a very beautiful mineral-like yeast profile. Tons of fruity acidity, yet it's not punchy or overdone. No alcohol or flaw and very aromatic, especially for its size.
In the mouth, it's snappy, crisp, tart with a "chewy", wheat-like texture and gentle acidity that balances nicely without puckering the palate. Hibiscus is quite apparent, but somehow doesn't prevent the malt/wheat or yeast profile from shining, as well. Very nice stuff and flavorful, easy drinking. Wonderfully-textured, dry and well-malted.

12 oz. draft at Farmhouse Tap & Grill. Guess the color? It is a beautiful ruby / crimson in color. Aroma is very subtle, mild flowers, mild yeast, and a mineral hint. Flavor is a reflection and I like the delicate character. The finish has a light hibiscus hint.
