Draught at the brewery, 3/23/18.
Very hazy, light, pale-straw-golden with a white head receding steadily to cover.
Nectarine, lemon and very dry sauvignon blanc-like notes show proper Motueka characteristics. Quite fruity, with the yeast blending in. Cracker from the malt is quite sparse, staying out of the way. No resin, alcohol or flaw and very low juice character from the hops.
Extremely dry to the point of being husky with tons of lemon and nectarine flavor (themselves very, very dry/unripe). Earthy mineral and more sauv blanc character from the hops but it needs much, much more malt softness/depth. And by more I mean any. Because this is brutally thin and husky. Otherwise, clean, low resin with expressive and interesting hop character. Engaging carbonation and no alcohol noted.

4 oz. draft at Ten Bends. Pours an unclear pale yellow with no head. The aroma is citrus, tropical fruit, pine and pale grain. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is crisp with a dry texture. Overall, really great flavor for a under 5% brew!
