Canned 2/19/18, drunk 3/4/18.
Clear, honey-gold. White head fades to cover steadily.
Butter mixes with white grape and strong Mosaic-like vegetal notes, with light scallion/onion character and strong pepper. It's still fairly soft and free from resin, though perhaps softened more by the butteriness. Lightly juicy and light biscuit malt behind it all. No alcohol noted. Nothing particularly cohesive or even enjoyable though. Perhaps a bit of grape and mineral, but it's fleeting.
In the mouth it's juicy, sweet and malty, surprisingly. Lime-papaya with pine twang on the end. Lemon and spice lingering. Carbonation is a bit low/loose and alcohol is persistent on the finish. Melon lingers, from the yeast, as well.

Four pack at the source: pours misty gold with a white head. Aroma is citrus, tropical fruits, mango and whatever. Taste is fairly sweet. Bitterness at the finish plus a bit of dryness. Tasty as always. I do not remember what the original tasted like too well, but this is solid.
