Canned 2/20/18, drunk 2/28/18.
Deep, straw-yellow-golden with a light-to-moderate haze and a medium-sized head showing low retention.
Very grassy with pine, pineapple and dry nectarine. Not bad, but very light. Though it's a bit worrisome when NS hop aromas are very dry, given how undermlated many of their hoppy offerings are these days. Lingering grassiness, with more yellow fruit some melon and no alcohol or flaw.
Tastes quite dry and a bit green still, though some juicy lemon and light mango arrives through the middle. Malt is heavy cracker and quite sparse. More citrus on the finish and continues to be very dry and grassy. Clean at least, but still too green. And as it usually is lately with Night Shift, needs more malt softness/depth to balance.

From notes taster at the source lemon gold with a thin white head. Aroma is scallion grass floral hops and pine. Taste is all hops and lingering pine bitterness. Needs more fruit to balance.
