Draught at the brewery, 12/31/17.
Clear, amber-brass with no head.
Heavy cider characteristics in the nose; red and yellow apple, wax, moderate acid and tannin with light specialty malt and lingering rye/carroway spice/herb character.
Butterscotch, red appleskin and diacetyl are prominent in the flavor, though the diacetyl doesn't ruin the beer, thankfully. Mint and strong acidity linger on the finish with a malty texture, low, loose carbonation and moderate attenuation. Very strange one and I don't think it completely congealed. Given the diacetyl, it obviously seems like it needs more time in secondary.

8 oz. at the source. Clear in color red, thin white head. Aroma shows MacIntosh Apples, rye malts, and minerals. The flavor is a carbon copy of the aroma with a mild note of caraway seeds in the finish. No sugar at all which is really great. Crisp finish.
