Canned 6/9/17, drunk 12/15/17.
Clear, dark amber. Off-white head fades quickly to a ring.
Strong melanoidin acidity gives very fruity, vinous qualities and there is a strong brown bread and crystal malt character. Light dusting of cocoa with not nearly as much softening wheat character, nor any lighter hefe-like esters. No alcohol or flaw.
Very dry and specialty malt-heavy with obvious attenuation as it's sat in the fridge for 6 months. Too much acidity and light roast, coming off too sharp on account of the heavy dryness and thinned out body. Obviously not decocted; there is just no residual sugar left. Lightly engaging carbonation. No alcohol or flaw.
