Draught at the brewery, 12/10/17.
Lightly hazy, raspberry-golden color with a small, pinkish-tinged, off-white head showing moderate-to-low retention.
Very fruity in the nose, though nicely integrated with wheat and light lactic acidity. On paper, this sounds like it would be extremely acidic/tannic, given the two fruits penchant for high acidity. But the nose is neither too "dry" or acidic, even taking the lactic acidity in to consideration. Assumedly, the wheat has really softened things here and it even comes off lightly juicy. No alcohol or flaw, high strength of aroma with the fruit feeling very fresh/authentic.
In the mouth it's equally well-balanced, with deep, pillowy, soft wheat and malt characteristics and a juicy, not-too-acidic lime and cranberry character that nonetheless shows good tartness on the end. As with the other entries in this series, the lactic character is very light and never comes off as cheap/forced/overdone. Tight carbonation, good attenuation and integration of the fruit. Excellent as always, from this series.

Pours orange pink into a shaker. Pink soapy head with good retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Cranberry and citrus aromas. Sharp with sweet cranberry and tart lime upfront turning to marshmallow in the lasting finish.

Taster at the source pours a hazy pink with a nice white head. Aromas of sour grain berries and lime peel. Taste is nice and easy to drink not too sour or aggressive, but well balanced. --- Beer merged from original tick of Berliner Weisse with Cranberry and Lime on 08 Nov 2017 at 13:34 - Score: 7

6 oz draft at the brewery. Hazy pink color with plenty of carbonation. Aroma is subtle lime peel, mild Berry, and sour grains. The flavor is very mild and approachable, tart berries and lime zest, low acid. Carbonation is higher and gives a tingle over the palate. Nice.
