Can drunk at Referend 1st Anniversary line share, 12/2/17.
Dark burgundy-cranberry with a strong haze, maybe even cloudiness, and a very large, pink head showing strong retention.
Tart fruits in the nose are also quite juicy, with lots of malt backing. Acidity is high, but the lactose sugar does seem to cut at it, somewhat, producing a weird, lactic-milky character which is a bit off-putting. No alcohol or flaw, at least and the fruit itself is done well.
In the mouth it's creamy, rich, "thick" and moderately sweet, though a full-on tartness takes hold of the finish. Lots of berry acidity, deep juiciness and sweet malt, with firm carbonation and no alcohol noted. I've got nothing against the "style", but the astringent tartness of the cranberry along with milky lactose notes and sweet malt all make for a stomach churner, IMHO. I much prefer Grimm's POP! series which is extremely light on the lactose.

Pours a reddish-maroon, with big, rapidly dissipating head. Aroma of sour fruit and lactic acid. Flavor is sour blackberry and cranberry. More sour than a lot of the other JREAMs (most have a touch of sweetness). Very tasty.
