Draught at the brewery, 9/16/17.
Lightly-to-moderately hazy, dull-copper-brass with a small, white head of low retention.
It's quite sour, mostly lactic and with some definite earthy, tart, strongly herbal character that must be the sumac. Light vanilla and all sorts of pineapple-guava-passion fruit character stemming from this thing.
Juicy and quite tart up front growing more sour through the middle and finishing fairly puckering. Ample texture, fairly engaging carbonation and a reasonably high attenuation. The sumac is an enjoyable element that adds a layer of earthy, peppery, herbal character that helps contrast with the strong lactic acid component, while not being overdone itself.

8 oz. draft at the brewery. Slightly hazy yellow color, full fizzy head. Aroma is lots of tart citrus, grapefruit, lemon, and sulfur.

Flavor has a solid amount of tartness though out. Moderate amount of tart, juicy acid. For a guy who isn't into sours much, this was very palatable.
