Our 4 Rivers Red is a deep red colored ale that is a delight for those beer drinkers who enjoy a deep rich flavor without all the hoppiness of the pale ales. This Red is not too heavy but long on the malt and smooth on the finish. It is a little bit nutty and flavorful enough to pair with almost any food. It is a good looking beer, and easy to drink. We hope you will come by and test it out soon!

Can from the Packie Brilliant deep copper with garnet hues and a small off white head that quickly recedes. Bready caramel nutty maltiness with enough earth and light spice to counter. Pretty nice red ale.

4 ounce draft. A near clear Amber appearance. Aroma as tall coffee, crackers, and maybe honey. Flavor is pretty much a standard amber ale. Well-made nothing wrong with it, just a standard brew pub amber.

Taster pour at the brewery. Appearance is clear, root-beer brown with a ring of beige head. Aroma is mild caramel and cracker. Taste is lightly sweet cracker. Palate is light bodied with watery texture, soft carbonation and sweet finish. Overall, not a heckuva lot here. Inoffensive but a bit boring.

Draught at the brewery, 7/30/17.
Dark cherry-amber, clear with a dark butter colored head. A pinch of roasted malt mixes with very fruity yeast esters and light caramel and honey from the base and specialty malts. Low hop aromatics with black pepper, hint of orange and lightly spicy notes, as well. Clean with no overabundance of specialty malt and no booze.
Dry again, with a good maltiness. Some acidity from the specialty malts helps balance the fruitiness and light caramel. Lightly bready with orange and pepper from the hops, on the finish. Moderate, engaging carbonation. Boring red/amber ale, but well-done.
