Pours hazy pale yellow with a frothy white head aroma of Taste has huge lemon notes. Palate has dry oils, more lemon notes. Good.

16 oz can in a trade with tfontana. Aroma of soft citrus with a little bit of danky herb. Flavor follows with a mild malt backbone and soft mouthfeel. Can is dated 12/11/23. So it is no surprise it seems a bit muted. That said, it’s held up extremely well!

Can (12/11/23) pour from Manchester Wine and Liquors (can says Imperial Pale Ale and ABV is 6.5%. Hops Citra & Azzaca.) Opaque dark yellow with nice sparkle, thin head with fair retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong citrus, grapefruit, pine and slight herb. Taste is strong citrus and pine, decent malt backbone. Smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and crisp, dry, malty-yeasty finish. Taste not as interesting as aroma but good strength.

Draught at Picco, 5/30/17.
Cloudy-to-soupy, deep brass-golden, with small, but moderately-well retained white head.
Big citra-dominated nose, with lemon, light sweat, lime leaf and red grapefruit. Pineapple and mango make an appearance, with bare, crackery malts behind it. Warming and breathing provides for juicier notes though it remains "dry" in the nose, albeit aromatic and clean. Very fresh and well-done on the hops, though there is just a touch of resin. No alcohol or flaw.
Dry in the mouth, with pineapple, dry lime and light sweat. Vanilla and biscuit emanate from the malt which provides a substantial texture despite the very high attenuation. Lime and leafy green, spicy hop notes with a fairly large bitterness and some light pine acidity on the finish. Maybe not my favorite hop profile but it’s juicy, fresh, clean and the texture, carbonation and attenuation are hard to argue with. Warming helps considerably here. No alcohol, light resin lingering.
