On tap at Confluence, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of spruce tips and tart cranberries. Flavour is loaded with spruce tips upfront, followed by lightly tart cranberries. Not much in the way of saison yeast left. Not a fan.

750mL bottled Nov 2016, shared by Chris on 5/28/17. Thanks, I think...
Cranberry-auburn color, light-to-minimal haze and fairly well-carbonated yet not able to support a head, probably due to the spruce.
This should be the commercial description for the beer,
"We start with a grist of both two row barley and German pils malt. We ferment the wort warm with a French yeast strain to produce a delicate pepper phenol character graced by mild fruit esters and a strong attenuation. Light noble hops are added to the boil to achieve an herbal, fresh grass character that complements the lively nature created by the yeast. We then DESTROY it with so much cranberry and spruce that you will have no idea if youโre drinking a glass of walrus piss or liquefied cheeseburger.
I think this beer, of the tens of thousands Iโve had, may have the MOST overdone adjunct character Iโve ever tasted. Pretty incredible.

750 ml corked and caged bottle. Bottling of Nov 2016. Pours a pink in color with thin lasting head. Aroma is exactly as the label leads you to believe. Huge spruce followed by cranberries.
I like the appearance and the aroma, unfortunately it is like drinking a Christmas tree. The spruce is that strong. Very mild Berry and nothing more. All spruce tips. This was damn near undrinkable. I coked down about 3 ounces and had to stop.
