Good appearance; hazy, bright goldenrod, good-sized, white head showing moderate retention.
Yeasty dough notes obscure lighter pineapple underneath. Some leafy, green character, with light spice, lime and lemon zest, but it’s all extremely hard to discern, having to swirl vigorously and get your nose in there. Something seems to be adding a lot of blandness, that being the yeast, as this isn’t even an older can. Alcohol seems restrained in the nose and there isn’t any real flaw; but there isn’t really any thing period, here.
Lime and pineapple mix with a light wood and spice, potpourri-like character. With warming it gets pretty boozy. Low, somewhat loose carbonation and a soft, lightly malty texture. Very rough around the edges and with very unfocused, rather messy, hop character, as most cans coming out of DBC seem to be.

16 oz. can. thanks to TJ on this one. Has no date coding of any kind. Hazy in the New England style, aroma is very light grassy, some fruit. The flavor is not offensive, but just doesn’t really have a whole lot here. Weak fruits. The ABV is hidden so that is a big plus.

Poured from can hazy grapefruit with a thin white head. Aromas of grassy floral notes light citrus some pine. Taste is ok slightly thin alcohol is hidden needs more citrus or some type of kick. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hostile Takeover on 29 May 2017 at 17:29 - Score: 6
