Crowler thanks to Todd. Pours a clear orange hue with a medium white head. A big sweet fruity tropical nose. Sweet toast, malty earthy base, some tropical notes. Very interesting, like a English IPA. Sweet.

Fruity, cloudy, yeasty, lupulin powder? So bright on the palate. Classic orange and grapefruit. Yeasty and a little doughy, but good.

Canned 6/15/17, drunk 7/3/17.
Fully hazy, maize-golden with drab brass hues and a small, white head fading instantly to cover.
Whew, that’s a lot of garlic. Very scalliony/garlicy with very light pine accents and some extremely light pineapple juiciness. Moderately estery with a bit of alcohol and little/no malt character in the nose.
Big orange juice impressions upon first sip without any of the garlic from the nose. Malts are nicely attenuated but still supple, creating a soft texture. Low, fairly engaging carbonation adds to that end. There’s light dough and/or astringent character coming from somewhere, possibly too much yeast, maybe too much hop particulate (or obviously a combination of both). It really works against the brightness of the beer and leaves it mild, fairly bland and more or less similar to a glass of extra pulpy, malted orange juice. My first Dr. Nandu-line beer and I think I’ll be sticking with the Hop Hop and Away line. The mosaics here seem well past their prime.
