Absurdism is a milk stout brewed with chocolate, coffee, vanilla and cheesecake. On the nose we experience aromas of chocolate cheese cake, molasses, and a hint of sweet strawberry. The flavor follows suit, with dense flourless cake notes. Draught only.

Draught at the brewery, 2/2/19.
Milk chocolate-to-ebony with a light mahogany-to-ruddy-tan head that shows moderately-high retention. Undetermined clarity.
No sign of the cheesecake in nose, where it smells pretty on par with the something like a lightly aged double shot. Light-to-moderate lactose character is well-integrated with the light cookie-caramel malt-like character as hints of fruity roast and dark fruit burst forth on the end. Almost a grape/raisin-like character, as well, with hints of vanilla and fig and no alcohol noted, nor flaw.
Nice and rich in the mouth with a thick, creamy texture and low but tight carbonation. Raisin, plum, prune and vanilla provide tons of balance to the succulent malt and just near the end, there it is! the cheesecake. Almost chalky, with a...well...cheesecake-like flavor. Sweet butter, grape jelly and more dark fruits behind it. No alcohol or flaw. On the sweeter side, as their sweet stouts are, but nothing unusual nor too sweet for the style. Quite interesting and well done.

Draught @ Tree House, Chorlton, MA. Super creamy and sweetish with loads of cheesecake, vanilla, chocolate and biscuity notes. A bit over the top but still somehow manages to be quite balanced.
