Draft at brewpub. West coast ipa. Orange beer and foamy white head. Nose is pine and oranges. Tats of oranges, grapefruit, pine, and aerosol spray. Little chemical on palate. Fairly bitter.

5 oz pour on tap at the brewery. It’s a clear bright yellow with no sparkle nice cap of beige head with fair retention and nice lacing. Aroma is strong citrus and pine (lightly reminiscent of cat piss). Taste is strong resin pine moving to light citrus, yeast and cracker. Mouthfeel is light side of light to medium bodied with smooth frothy texture soft carbonation and dry bitter finish. Overall, not super bitter but dominated by resin. Decent.

4 oz. draft. Flavor of slight citrus, mild floral, and steady amount of pine in the finish. It is West Coast style by my tastebuds. Average bitterness for the style. About what I expected.

Draught at the brewery, 11/2/18.
Lightly-to-minimally hazy, blonde-lemon-golden. White head atop is small-to-medium and shows moderate to moderately-low retention.
Fruity, though not intensely so, in the nose, with light pineapple and nectarine quickly giving way to strong citrus, pine and clean ale yeast notes. Malts are well-attenuated, it seems, with cracker and biscuit providing reasonable structure. Lingering lemon, grapefruit and pine, but little/no resin, thankfully and no alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth it initially shows a burst of juice and lightly sweet, honey-like malt, but this is quickly overtaken by grapefruit, orange and lemon with moderate-to-strong bitterness crescendoing to the finish which is quite, though I'd still say pleasingly, bitter. Malts dry out considerably and the texture ends somewhat cracker heavy with medium, fairly engaging carbonation and lingering citrus. Piney, though not resinous really. Clean and no alcohol. West Coast with a definite New England influence.
