Can drunk 8/9/18.
Thoroughly hazy-soupy, maize-bronze, somewhat dark, with a small, off-white head atop showing low retention.
Strong papaya is immediately rather tangy, with heavy lemon leading to moderate pine and white grapefruit. Bare, cracker-like malts sit behind it, adding little. Yeast shows definite bubble gum and round, fruity esters, but the punchy pineapple, twangy papaya and resinous pine character seems unrelenting. Even with warming/breathing it fails to really soften.
In the mouth it's just too bitter, resinous and twangy, with heavy papaya, unripe pineapple, bitter lemon and resinous pine. The texture, as always, is perfect. Tight carbonation, soft and malty with high attenuation. Well-made beer, just not a fan of this hop whatsoever.

Superior to most, but not quite ultra superior. Great pine and grapefruit aroma here, with a little booze and green onion. Pours hazy orange. Clean finish - too clean like the cause of allergies. A little more punch with this one would improve the beer, I'm thinking. Tall can.
