Pours intensely hazy with a thick white head. Aroma of fruit with a slight malt influence. Taste is like a fairly plain ale, subtle tropical notes on the tongue. Palate includes pineapple, orange, light hops and grapefruit. Good, fruit influences just a slightly more muted than I'd expect.

Draft taster at the source. Bright hazy yellow, normal carbonation. Aroma has citrus, orange, lemon, pineapple.

Flavor has a lot more juice than I was expecting. This is much easier to drink than the Nifty Blazer from this brewer. This brew has a soft mouthfeel and low ABV. This is the best brew I have ever had from City Steam to date.

Can drunk 8/5/18.
Moderately hazy, lemon-yellow-golden. White head is thin but large, receding quickly to cover.
In the nose it's juicy with tons of nectarine, papaya, pineapple and light mango. Some light pine and grapefruit sits on the end, adding a bit more heft to the nose while fruity, bubble gum-filled yeast and lots of biscuity malts sit behind the hops. No alcohol, resin or flaw.
In the mouth there's a bit of butter noted right away, which is a shame because this is soft, dry, supple and juicy with huge yellow fruit notes of apple, mango, ripe nectarine and light pineapple. Light lime-pine on the end counteracts the heavy bubble gum yeast and the carbonation is quite low but mostly engaging. No resin, flaw or alcohol, other than the moderate diacetyl. Quite nice and I really like the relatively low abv and big flavors. As my friend mentioned and not surprisingly, it was much better on draught. The diacetyl must have developed in the canning process.

On tap at City Steam Brewery Cafe, pours an opaque cloudy bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of resinous hops, with pithy notes and bready malt. Flavour is rather yeasty and soapy, with light stone fruits, soapy hops and some cleaner. Too soapy and yeasty. Not totally on point.
