On slushy machine at Trillium Field Trip, 84/18.
Blood/raspberry/cranberry red. Frozen.
Nose is bright, very exuberant cherry acid with strong sweetness behind it. Good fruit character, as all of their fruit additions have though I'm not getting any barrel and/or tequila character at all.
In the mouth it's tart cherry, very fruity and strong with a big malt sweetness that is, at least, tempered by the coldness. Yet it's still very sweet and incredibly intensely fruity and tart with very little complexity, despite the fruit being done well. Was looking forward to the tequila part, which would have helped break up the monotony. Just too intense, and sweet, with too little complexity.

5 oz. draft @ Field Trip 2018. Another beer Slushy served by Trillium. It is frozen so no aroma. Flavor has a sour cherry throughout with hints of oaky booze. Mouthfeel is half crushed ice. It tastes good but.... Yeah, odd.
