Clear, pale, straw-brass.
Cinnamon toast crunch with spicy bourbon is certainly interesting... Vanilla follows with a big banana and cream soda-like kick. It's sweet, sugary, not really artificial, yet much less authentic and natural than I'd expect from Kuhnhenn. Alcohol is well-concealed as are any sharp phenols.
In the mouth, coconut, bourbon spice, vanilla sweetness and floral notes from the mead all give it a somewhat balanced character, but heavy orange, cinnamon and growing honey all pick up to add heft. It never gets syrupy or cloying and is surprisingly light on the palate for its size. Kind of like cream soda or apple pie with ice cream. Good, for the most part, though fairly novel. Lots of spice to help keep the sweet notes in check and the banana is quite fun. Nothing terribly cohesive, though. It just doesn't go anywhere.

Poured from 375ml thanks Dsum clear light gold no head thin lacing. Aroma is cinnamon toast light nuttiness. Taste is light and follows aroma. I dont get any barrel and is not what I was expecting.
