Reference Method is our interpretation of a German-style Pilsner, brewed with Pilsen malt, noble hops, and traditional German Lager yeast. Subtle hop aromas and notes of lightly toasted bread join forces in this classic style.

Can drunk 7/15/18.
Lightly-to-minimally hazy, brass-maize with a medium-sized, white head showing moderate retention.
Clean, yet rich malts add honey, corn and vanilla while leafy, green, citrus-accented, herbal hops help balance. Good brace of sourdough-like character on the finish with no resin nor any flaw.
In the mouth it's very malty, with pillowy textures and creamy-like carbonation. Not too sweet, yet it has a "thick" or "chewy" texture, moreso than a pils probably should. Still, it's clean and substantial, with hops that push the envelope on bitterness/citrus without actually going overboard. No alcohol or flaw.

Somewhere: pours slightly hazy with a white head. Aroma is lemonish and a hint floral. Taste is lightly citrusy. Super light body. Only the faintest malts. Super easy.
