Can, undated, drunk 6/16/18.
Lime-tinged brass. White head fades immediately to nothing. Lightly hazy.
Brett and mild citrusy play nicely in the nose. The combination actually makes it smell very pear-like. Dry and not boozy or sharply estery.
In the mouth it's mega dry with light lime rind-like Brett notes. Light lemon balm and soft, dull tannin. Initially it even seems too dry, but the spritzy carbonation adds back some perceived body and the apple grows lightly juicy, while the tannin gets chewy, as it warms. No sweetness ever, but it never gets astringent, either. Very low hop bitterness.

4 oz pour on draft at Pizzeria Paradiso Dupont. Mostly clear pale yellow with off-white head. Aromas of apples, funk, oak. Tastes of apples, funk, oak. Light body with a dry finish.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Portland, ME, 4/8/15. Very hazy, almost murky yellow with a fizzy white head that quickly fades. Aroma of funky notes, dry apples, leather, citrus hops. Nice. The taste is dry apples, funk, leather, tart apples, hints of hops. Thin bodied, lingering tartness. The hops are very mild here, but god damn it’s a good cider.

12 oz. bottle thanks to Willrunforbeer. Cloudy pale yellow color head dies very quick. Aroma is very funky yeast, moldy basement and acid tones.
The acidic notes is strong with the funky really funky yeast really making a very unpleasant experience. Light crisp body but for me this was a drain pour. Ugly.
