Draught at the brewery, 4/15/18.
Muted, dull brass-golden. White head fizzles to ring. High clarity and well-carbonated.
Dusty with biscuit, cracker, some black pepper phenol and light vegetal character. Seems very highly attenuated and perhaps even undermalted somewhat. Fruitiness is low and I think there is a bit of champagne yeast character, but it's light at best. No alcohol or flaw.
Dry and with a strong yeast presence, as well as heavily attenuated grape character adding pepper, vegetal notes and moderate acidity. Bready and biscuity with an overly dry feel to it, though showing engaging carbonation. Lemon and pepper linger on the finish with light cereal and champagne-light suggestions.
